New Year Who This
Look back on the year that had gone. What have you learned, what have you accomplished and what have you failed at? Now look at the new year in front of you. How do you wish this to be different? How do you wish to make this the best yet? What dreams are you daring to have? Do not let this season go by without reflecting on what was and what can be.
So as you party and post, do not pass up the chance to plan and ponder. Do not let the world distract you from what is really happening, you were blessed with another opportunity to create your best year ever, if you haven’t started yet, time to live your best life by loving the one you created.

Answer The Call
Whether you subscribe to Christianity or another faith system or you believe the universe is at work you in your life, you will feel that there is more to life than what you two eyes see daily. To me that is our purpose. That thing that we were created for. Purpose is that problem that we were meant to solve. Purpose is that part of the puzzle that we were meant to fit. However, if we misuse this purpose or ignore it or do not answer the call, we will lose it and the opportunity will be passed on to another.
You see in this world, the story will always go on. Time does not stop for no one, nor does the larger picture become delayed because one person is hesitant. We have been presented with an amazing opportunity to be a part of something great. This something is God's plan to further His Kingdom of Love. But again, your role is vital but the actor playing the role is interchangeable.
How do we not miss out on this awesome opportunity to change lives? One must simply answer the call. He needs us, as is, right now. We were given all the things we needed at the beginning to accomplish all of out life's work. We just need the knowledge and experience of the one who created us to bring forth our best self. The Creator knows exactly where to put you, what to expose you to and what to feed you in order for you to bloom to your fullest capacity. This is simply because The Creator is the one who planted the seed there in the first place.
This is the season of growth. Dare to answer the call. Leap to be a part of the puzzle. Hesitate no more as it relates to your purpose. The kingdom is waiting on you.

Season Premiere
It is often said, my season has come or this is not my season. Well I am here to tell you that your season has come! That moment you were preparing for is upon you. That thing that you sacrifice for is ready for you to seize it. Now the problem is, are you ready to go out and get it?
I read somewhere that when you ask the universe for something you are then presented with an opportunity to prove how bad you actually want it. Water does not cut throw a rock due to its power, but due to its consistency. It is time now to tap into that consistency. Tap into that nature of the creator that resides in you. It is time to create the life that you wanted.
It is your season. It is your time. It is your moment. But you must seize it. Your number has been called. The coach is ready. And so are you. He has equipped you with all you need for this moment. Trust your process, trust your journey and trust your story. It is time to live your best life today!

Are You Ready
Are you ready?
The thing we prayed for yesterday, we are being prepared for today to receive it tomorrow. We seldom understand all that entails the thing we are asking for, but The Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom knows what we need to get where we need to go. It is just that we in the natural cannot recognize His works for what it is. That discomfort is our growth, that trying situation is our lessons, that difficulty is our qualifier. Know that He is preparing you for what He promised you. Thereal question is Are You Ready?

Father's Day
A collegue asked me the other day, "How does it feels to be a father?" And at the time I told him it's awesome. I enjoy it and I am truly blessed to be a father of two beautiful, talented, loving individuals.
But ultimately being a father leaves me with the feeling of the unknown. The thing with parenting is you tend to get your results of whether or not you succeeded at parenting at the end of your children's childhood. I won't really know if the seeds of wisdom, discipline, confidence and value really took root in their spirits until it comes to fruition in their lives.
It has been a simple goal of mine to be the kind of man my daughter would marry and I feel proud and confident in that union. Also, to be the kind of man my son would want to be and I will be proud and admire him. But I do not know what all I am doing now will be cemented in their beings. Which conversation would they remember most? Which chastising remark will they resent the most but appreciate later? Which hug will be the best? Which of my absences be the worst?
I am far from perfect and I have my fair share of baggage I have accumulated through these near three decades of life here on Earth. I just hope that I can continue to show these two beautiful souls what unconditional, unwaivering and unprompted love truly feels like throughout their entire lives.
For I do not how the story ends for us, but please know Rayna and Rawson you have truly taught me the love of God and I will make it my mission to ensure I am an embodiment of that for you both and who ever you bless to share your lives with.

Sharing Your Story
At times I wish I can just fast forward to the best parts of my life and skip over the low parts, the pain and disappointment. But in hindsight I realized that I learned so much in that experience. In the valley is where we gain the skill to handle the climb to the mountaintop. "Rough waters make a better sailor" I know this and accept this, but this is difficult. I cannot remember who was the first person who informed me that this journey called life is easy, but that thought cemented in my subconscious. Older and wiser, at least I hope, I have accepted that life is arduous, but that thought is not as comforting as I would have hoped. But I have seen the growth over the years, so no matter how difficult it may be, its effective.
So OK, life is hard, obviously. But worth it, maybe. Will it end, most definitely. But a quote I came across this week, "Life isn't meant to be forever, you are meant to create something that will last forever." So as I continue to make my imprint on the sands of time, I encourage you to continue sharing your story. You will be surprised who else is experiencing what you are going through or overcame. Again if you went through all of this just to help one person get one step closer to their goal, then you are serving a great purpose.

Obstacles
I truly believe that any obstacles we have before us is meant to be conquered. Difficulties are not put in place to stop, discourage, or prevent you from obtaining your goals. They are the opposite. They are there to remind you of the fact that you are traveling in the right direction. They are also there to deter you from getting off track and remaining focused. And lastly they are there to give you a preview of the power of the spirit that is inside of you.
So the next time you are at the foot of your mountain and contemplating whether or not you have the fortitude, endurance or faith to reach the other side, just remember the battle has already been won, you just need to collect your prize. Your goal is to get to the other side, whether it is over, around, under or through. You have the capacity, capability, and authority to reach the other side of your mountain. Do not ever forget. Be stubborn about your goals, not about your method.
Life is arduous, unfulfilling and discouraging, but once you equip yourself with purpose, vision and faith, in not just your God but in yourself, you would find greater meaning and greater sense of self. Remember obstacles are a testament to your accomplishments, not your defeats.
